Founded by Registered Nurse Alexandria Read, Salt Esthetique was born from a desire to fill a gap in Townsville’s cosmetic industry. Alexandria recognised the need for a space that delivers high-quality, natural-looking aesthetic treatments without the pressure, overdone results, or one-size-fits-all approach.

Located in the coastal suburb of Bushland Beach, Salt Esthetique is a boutique clinic offering a holistic range of services — from cosmetic aesthetics and dermal therapies to advanced skin treatments and pigmentation correction. Our experienced team is passionate about providing medically backed treatments with an emphasis on subtle, refined results that enhance rather than alter.

Alexandria Read

With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Alexandria Read brings more than just credentials to Salt Esthetique — she brings heart, precision, and a passion for redefining the cosmetic experience. Alexandria began her nursing career in 2014 with a Diploma of Nursing, later advancing her qualifications with a Bachelor of Nursing from Central Queensland University in 2020.

Alexandria's clinical experience is broad and deeply rooted, spanning general practice, allergy clinics, anaesthetics, operating theatres, and correctional nursing. But it was her desire to support people beyond the hospital walls that sparked the vision for Salt Esthetique. Frustrated by the lack of natural, client-centred cosmetic options in Townsville, Alexandria set out to create something different — a space where clients feel seen, safe, and empowered through every step of their aesthetic journey. After training alongside one of Australia’s most respected names in non-surgical cosmetics, Juv'ae, she officially opened Salt Esthetique in February 2023.
