Salt Esthetique believe in enhancing natural beauty and educating clients during their aesthetic journey; this is actually how the clinic came about. 

Alexandria Read, the owner of Salt realised that there are very limited clinics available for natural looking cosmetic treatments and skin care. Located in Bushland Beach, our experienced team treat a wide range of concerns from cosmetic treatments through to dermal therapies, skin concerns and pigmentation.

THE FOUNDER

Alexandria Read

Alexandria comes with a 10-year career in the healthcare industry. She completed her Diploma of Nursing in 2014, she then went on to elevate her expertise by obtaining a Bachelor of Nursing from Central Queensland University in 2020.

Alexandria’s extensive experience spans across a variety of backgrounds including, GP clinics, allergy clinics, correctional nursing, anaesthetics, recovery and operating theatres. Driven by a genuine passion for helping people, Alexandria recognised that she could enhance people’s wellbeing outside of the hospital setting. Alexandria embraced the vision of opening her own cosmetic clinic, she completed her training alongside a prominent figure in Australia’s non-surgical cosmetics, Jua’ve.

In February 2023, Alexandria opened her Clinic, she maintains a commitment to continuous professional development. Alexandria actively participates in ongoing training sessions, webinars and conferences to keep up with industrial standards and legislations. Her unwavering dedication ensures that her cosmetic practices continue to align with the forefront of the cosmetic industry. Alexandria’s professional demeanour characterised by a calming presence and a welcoming environment facilitates the rapid establishment of rapport with her clients. It is a unique blend of ongoing education and interpersonal skills that has commended Alexandria to the community of  Townsville, earning her respect and appreciation.
