Founded by Registered Nurse Alexandria Read, Salt Esthetique® was created to offer Townsville clients a considered and professional approach to aesthetic and skin treatments — one centred on individual assessment rather than trends or one-size-fits-all solutions. Since opening, the clinic has received industry recognition for excellence in aesthetic practice, reflecting our ongoing commitment to professional standards and clinical integrity.

Now located in North Shore, Townsville, our boutique medical aesthetic and skin clinic provides a comprehensive range of services including dermal therapies, advanced skin treatments, light and energy-based procedures, and personalised skin programs. Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation to assess suitability, discuss expectations, and develop a tailored plan aligned with your goals.

THE FOUNDER

Alexandria Read

With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Alexandria Read brings clinical knowledge, precision, and a patient-centred approach to Salt Esthetique®.

Alexandria commenced her nursing career in 2014, completing a Diploma of Nursing before advancing her qualifications with a Bachelor of Nursing from Central Queensland University in 2020. Her professional background includes experience across general practice, allergy clinics, anaesthetics, operating theatres, and correctional health — providing her with a broad foundation in patient care, safety, and clinical standards.

Salt Esthetique® was established from Alexandria’s desire to create a considered and professional aesthetic environment in Townsville — one grounded in consultation, education, and individualised treatment planning. She recognised the importance of providing clients with clear information, realistic expectations, and a supportive setting in which to explore treatment options.
Since opening Salt Esthetique® in February 2023, Alexandria has remained committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-informed practice. Her approach prioritises thorough assessment, transparent communication, and tailored treatment plans designed to align with each client’s unique features and goals.

Alexandria began her nursing career in 2014 with a Diploma of Nursing, later advancing her qualifications with a Bachelor of Nursing from Central Queensland University in 2020.

Alexandria's clinical experience is broad and deeply rooted, spanning general practice, allergy clinics, anaesthetics, operating theatres, and correctional nursing. But it was her desire to support people beyond the hospital walls that sparked the vision for Salt Esthetique®. Frustrated by the lack of natural, client-centred cosmetic options in Townsville, Alexandria set out to create something different — a space where clients feel seen, safe, and empowered through every step of their aesthetic journey. After training alongside one of Australia’s most respected names in non-surgical cosmetics, Juv'ae, she officially opened Salt Esthetique® in February 2023.

PRICING

In accordance with current Australian regulations relating to the advertising of certain therapeutic goods, pricing for some treatments is not displayed on public platforms, including our website and social media.

Where treatment involves prescription-only medicines or requires individual medical assessment, suitability and associated fees are discussed during a face-to-face consultation with one of our qualified practitioners.
At Salt Esthetique®, every treatment pathway begins with a comprehensive consultation to assess your goals, medical history, and suitability. During this appointment, recommended treatment options, potential risks, expected outcomes, and associated costs will be discussed clearly and transparently.
